Animism: the belief that bodies of water, animals, tree, and other natural objects have spirits.
Extended family: includes the father,mom, children, and close relatives living in one household.
Rifts: [ The Great Rift Valley] are long deep valleys formed by the movement of the earths crust
Sub- Saharan Africa: the area of Africa that is south of the Sahara
Sahel: a strip of land that divides the desert from wetter areas.
Savannah: open grasslands with scattered trees.
The Sahara is a desert , because the Atlas Mountains cut off most of the rain clouds.
Lake Victoria is the largest lake in the world.
The main rivers are the Congo, the Zambezi, and the Niger.
"Along the Niger riverbanks in West Africa, great civilizations grew. " quoted from 7th grade World History book.
The 4 different regions of Africa are desert, Sahel, savannah and rain forest.
In ancient Africa, gold was equal to salt.
One of the 1st people living in old Africa were the Nok. [ They lived in present - day Nigeria] They quickly conqured other people.
The 1st camels came from Rome in AD 200s.

Rikki-Tikki-Tavi
This is the closest I can get the answers, on my own.
RIKKI - TIKKI - TAVI
Characters
Rikki - tikki - tavi : mongoose
Darzee : a tailorbird bird
Darzee's wife : a female tailorbird bird
Chuchundra : muskrat
Teddy : son ( Human)
Teddy's mother, Alice : wife/mother ( human)
Teddy's father : father/husband (human)
Nag : Big and black cobra, husband of Nagaina
Nagaina : another cobra , wife of Nag
Setting:Segowlee Cantonment, India
The exposistion: Is when they are introducing the characters and the setting, and the inciting or basic situation, is when Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is washed out of his home and found by Teddy and his mother, Alice.
( The exposistion is the setting, characters and the basic or inciting situation.)
The Rising action:Is when Rikki first meets Darzee and Nag, and manages to bit Nagaina, when Rikki saves Teddy and kills Karait, when Rikki overhears Nag's and Nagaina's plan to get rid of the people and Rikki, and Rikki kills Nag in the bathroom sluice, and when Rikki crushes and bites all of Nagaina's eggs expect for one.

( The Rising Action: are conflicts and complications. Conflicts: A conflict is a struggle between two opposing forces.)
The climax: Is when Nagaina is on the veranda next to Teddy's bare leg, ready to strike.

The Falling Action: is when Rikki starts fighting Nagaina, and when Nagaian runs with her egg, with Rikki running after her. Darzee's wife manages to slow her down enough , to let Rikki catch up and bit Nagaina's tail. Then Nagina drags Rikki into a hole.
( The falling action: are the events that follow a climax.)
The resolution: Simply put, is when Rikki kills Nagaina. You should add a little more if you want a good grade.
